We’re passionate about connecting local churches in the Roanoke area to collectively make a global missions impact.

Global Missions Forum

Does your church feel disconnected from the broader global Church? How could your local congregation take steps toward a more strategic role in global missions? Are you a pastor, missions leader or a follower of Christ with a passion for global missions? We’d love to connect with you at an upcoming global impact forum!

We believe the first step to engage in global missions is simply knowing. At each forum you will find a diverse group of individuals from a variety of denominations and backgrounds who are like-minded in a shared desire to collaborate together from the greater Roanoke Valley to reach the nations for Christ! Forums are typically offered 3-4 times a year.

Global Missions Training

Throughout the year, RAGIF offers Global Missions Training Courses to churches in the greater Roanoke area.

The last course was offered in the Spring of 2022 entitled “Global Missions 101: Your Role in God’s Plan for the Nations”.

The course challenged and encouraged individuals to take the next step in their global missions commitment. They heard from engaging and informative speakers, were exposed to new opportunities, and were encouraged to collaborate with other churches in the greater Roanoke area for greater global missions impact.

Challenging our perception.

Expanding our global missions understanding through…

motivation

We unpack the biblical mandate for every church to be making a global missions impact to ultimately see God glorified among every nation. Through informed and passionate speakers, we highlight numerous ways that a global missions impact is being made and expose churches to new opportunities. We provide global missions courses on key topics in order to engage followers of Christ in the missions mandate.

mobilization

We highlight biblical models of sending and partnering. We present opportunities for the church to intercede through prayer. We introduce organizations who can come alongside churches in their global missions investment. We identify and form distinct global missions strategies so that churches may work together.

collaboration

We highlight an “abundance mindset” that reminds us that sharing with one another (whether that’s in ideas or resources) does not diminish what we have but multiplies it. We bring church leaders together for encouragement and provide an easier opportunity to network while also providing opportunities for gospel partnership.
